The Moremi Game Reserve covers an area of 3900 square kilometers, accounting for around 20% of the Okavango Delta, located in the northeastern part of Maun, Botswana. Widely recognized as one of the most representative reserves in South Africa, this reserve is considered the best-preserved area for wildlife and delta environment.

The Moremi Game Reserve is deemed one of the most beautiful reserves in Southern Africa, and it is the only area in the Okavango Delta that can be explored independently. Its unique geographical location is surrounded by swamps on its east, north, and west sides, while the interior of the reserve consists of dry land. The habitat for wildlife in the reserve is diverse, ranging from woodlands and thorny shrublands to dry tropical grasslands, grasslands, floodplains, swamps, permanent waterways, marshes, and islands. It is a paradise for wildlife, hosting a variety of animals including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, jackals, as well as various antelopes and impalas, along with over 400 species of birds.

The Moremi Game Reserve has four well-developed large campsites with basic facilities such as ablution blocks, picnic areas, and water supply. When driving in the reserve, it is recommended to use a four-wheel-drive vehicle due to the rough and sandy roads.
