Altai Tavan Bogd National Park is a national park located in Bayan-Ölgii Province in western Mongolia, covering a total area of approximately 6362 square kilometers. The Tavan Bogd within the park is a mountain range and part of the Altai Mountains. The highest point, Friendship Peak, is the highest peak in Mongolia, while Kuitun Mountain is a tri-border point of Mongolia, China, and Russia.

In addition to the majestic mountains, Altai Tavan Bogd National Park also features three lakes, including Dayan Lake, which not only provides water sources for the species within the park but also adds to the scenic beauty of the park. Today, various species such as argali sheep, wild goats, marals, sables, camels, and snowcocks freely thrive and reproduce in the park, while visitors respect their lives and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the park without disturbing their normal activities as much as possible.
