The Saadi Tomb is located in the northeast of Shiraz. The simple colonnade makes it relaxing, and a sentence is inscribed on the gate of the mausoleum: “Saadi, the disciple of Shiraz, exudes the fragrance of love, even though he has been gone for a thousand years, you will still kiss this land.” Saadi, the renowned author of “The Rose Garden,” is praised as an epitome of Persian literary language. The tombs of 66 sultans and their entourages are buried under simple brick and marble tombstones at Saadi Tomb, surrounded by elegant domes. The most prominent tomb among them is that of Ahmad Mansour. The best time to visit Saadi Tomb is when the climate is distinct in all four seasons. The northern part is relatively cool in spring, summer, and autumn, while cold in winter, and the southern part is hot in summer and warm in winter. The highest temperature is in July, with average lows and highs of 22°C and 37°C respectively, and the lowest temperature is in January, with average lows and highs of 3°C and 7°C. All seasons are suitable for tourism.
