Dobrich is a city located in northeastern Bulgaria, 30 kilometers west of the Black Sea coast, and is the ninth most populous city in Bulgaria. The city serves as the capital of Dobrich Province and is a central city in the Southern Dobruja region.

Dobrich is the second largest economic center in northern Bulgaria, as well as an important cultural and administrative center. It is also a significant tourist city with many sightseeing attractions. The Dobrich TV Tower, standing at 146 meters tall and completed in 1979, is the city’s most prominent landmark with an observation deck offering panoramic views of the entire city. The Asparuh sculpture was built to commemorate the establishment of the First Bulgarian Empire, depicting Asparuh on a high-headed horse with a sword raised, symbolizing the rise of the empire. The Saint George Church located in the city center is an important religious site, with the Levski Monument standing to the left.
