The Children’s Museum of Caracas is the earliest children’s museum in Latin America and one of the most important museums in Venezuela. It is located in the capital of Venezuela, established in 1982, with its planning work starting as early as 1974.
The Children’s Museum of Caracas is dedicated to providing a place for young children in the country to receive intellectual education, increase cultural knowledge, and inspire intelligence through extracurricular activities. Based on the characteristics of Venezuelan children, the museum has set up several major exhibition halls such as biology, communication, physics, ecology, space conquest, and cultural arts, aiming to stimulate children’s curiosity, imagination, creativity, problem-solving abilities, enhance their social skills, promote cooperation, and engage in creative activities through fun and hands-on experiences.
